About the project
Following the devastating Caldor Fire, Lefrancois Engineering was engaged to perform a comprehensive assessment of U.S. Forest Service and access roads impacted by fire damage. Our work included evaluating roadway conditions, drainage systems, and stormwater controls to determine safety hazards, erosion risks, and access limitations for emergency vehicles and residents. By identifying priority repairs and recommending sustainable roadway and drainage improvements, we supported both immediate recovery efforts and long-term resilience planning. This project highlights our commitment to helping communities rebuild critical infrastructure while protecting sensitive forest and watershed environments.
