Effective
This policy explains how Lefrancois Engineering ("we", "us") handles personal information collected through l-eng.com. Questions or requests: info@l-eng.com, 775-413-5055.
Information we collect
When you contact us
The contact form asks for your name, email address and a message, and, if you choose, your phone number and project location. If you email or call us, we receive whatever you choose to share. We use this information to answer your inquiry, prepare proposals and work with you on your project. Please don't send sensitive information such as financial account details through the form.
When you sign up for updates
If you subscribe to our updates, we collect your email address and, if you choose, your name, and use them to send you occasional news from the firm. You can ask to be removed at any time.
Automatically
Like any website, our hosting and image providers receive standard technical information when you load a page, such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested. It is used to deliver the site and keep it secure.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used: which pages are visited and how
visitors find us. It sets cookies (named _ga) and receives your IP address, browser and
approximate location. Google may collect information about your online activity over time and across
different websites. We never send it your name, email address, phone number or message.
You can opt out with Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on, or by blocking cookies in your browser. Our site does not respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals; the options above work instead. The site sets no other cookies for visitors.
Who handles your information
We share personal information only with the service providers that run this website and deliver your messages:
- Vercel hosts the website (privacy policy).
- Sanity stores the site's content and serves its images (privacy policy).
- Web3Forms receives contact-form and signup submissions and forwards them to us by email (privacy policy).
- Microsoft 365 hosts our email, where your messages and our replies are kept (privacy statement).
- Google Analytics measures site use as described above (privacy policy).
- OpenStreetMap provides the map tiles on our project maps (privacy policy).
We may also disclose information when required by law, or to protect our rights or the safety of others. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiries and project correspondence for as long as we need them to respond, to work with you, and for ordinary business and professional records. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, unless we must keep it for legal, professional or accounting reasons.
Your choices and requests
Email info@l-eng.com to ask what information we hold about you, or to have it corrected or deleted. We'll reply within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law.

Security
The site is served only over encrypted connections (HTTPS), and we limit access to the information you send us. No website or email system is completely secure, so please don't send anything you would not want sent by email.
Children
This site is intended for adults and businesses and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information, we'll update this page and the effective date above.
